There’s great things on the horizon for 2016 in Key West, Florida and The Lower Keys!! In January, The Lower Keys Celtic Festival takes place in Marathon, Florida on January 9 and 10. The next weekend January 16 and 17th is The Lower Keys Seafood Festival in Key West at Bayview Park. I will there with face painting, henna body art and flash tattoos in Key West!! Once again, I’ll be joining the IWFFA in Key West and painting faces during the flag football tournaments. Moving onto February, you can find me at the Buddy Pass 5K in Key West, where I’ll be painting faces and doing body art just in time for the race!!! I had the honor of providing henna services for a bride and her family in Philadelphia PA yesterday:) It was a beautiful , festive experience to be the henna artist for the upcoming Philadelphia PA bridal event. I spent about 4 hours with the family applying henna to the Indian family with designs of all sorts. Of course, the bride received the most intricate and extensive henna work on her hands and feet. After the henna was applied the ladies applied lemon juice to wet the henna again to allow the henna to create darker stains as it was setting on the skin. It was an AWESOME weekend in Key West, FL!! The weather alone is spectacular…. coupled with face and body art…….OMG!!!! Friday was the IWFFA event in Key West… I face painted alot of girls from the Panama team and some Mom’s too:) The Lower Keys Seafood Festival on Saturday and Sunday was a wonderful success. The weather was incredible and lots of faces were painted as well as henna tattoos and flash tattoos given.
