Yesterday I had the fortunate opportunity of doing bridal henna for a lovely bride for her wedding day in Key West, Florida. In addition I was also invited to her family and friends party before the wedding to offer henna to her wedding guests.

We did the bridal henna on her hands and palms up her arms just below the elbow area. It was a lovely experience at the Hyatt Centric in Key West. I later followed up and met the party The Champagne Room of The Tiger Bar in Key West on Truman Ave. It was a happy and festive day with wonderful wedding guests that traveled from as far as Guam to have this experience:)

So I recently found a new awesome wellness center in Key West called Namaste Key West. I absolutely LOVE this place. I had been silently hoping for a place just like it close to me where I could go to connect with like minded “woke” creatives. After riding by several times and also stopping by at times it wasn’t opened- I was determined and finally decided to take it a step further. I decided I would get info online. With the help of FaceBook,I was able to connect with Namaste Owner,Shanda. What a blessing and breath of fresh air THAT was! She is so sweet, friendly, gentle and kind:) I was immediately inspired and offered to collaborate with my henna and other art and she was so receptive and excited. I was excited too and still am! I rode my bike later that day to meet her and just loved the space at Namaste. I feel so good each time I visit. Tuesday nights Namaste offers free sound healing sessions from 7pm-8pm…. THEY are incredible:) Its a sacred space for connection and sound healing leaving me feeling renewed and invigorated each time. This past weekend was the grand opening/ gratitude party…. I attended with henna as my gift to everyone at the party!

I had such a wonderful time sharing with everyone that wanted henna…. some received henna for the very first time which was amazing. I love what I do, I’m sure I’ve said it a bazillion times. My art connects me to others that I may not otherwise reach or be reached by- for this I know I am of purpose and that feels good to me.

I get calls or emails from time to time from people expressing gratitude and appreciation for sharing my story and my gift. It’s really touching that I reach people this way.I received a call , well actually 2 , just recently from women expressing gratitude for what I’ve done and created in my life. Sometimes these calls come along with questions of advice on how they should proceed….. Thats one area I don’t visit,simply because I operate on vibes, energy and intuition more so than business do’s and dont’s . My advice is- do what’s best for YOU.
My art, it’s my gift. My “business??? is centered around this gift. My belief is that ANYTHING is possible. Seems crazy to some, but perfectly logical to me:) I began and continue to thrive using a method of what feels good to me and what feels inspiring to guide me. Theres nothing traditional about what I do or how I run it…. that works for me. The reason this a effective for me is because I’m focused but I work when I’m feeling good and in the flow. The Universe LOVES when we feel good and vibes are high. As a result, we receive more of that good stuff.So,doing what you love is paramount… you’ll feel good, when you feel good, you get good- total win win all the way around!!!
I love what I do. It’s fun going to “work”. I relax knowing I have an amazing gift I share with people that love and appreciate what I have to offer. I am abundant in all positive ways regarding my art. Its fun being creative and connecting with people from all over the world. Thank you:)

I love body art because its an art form that reaches so many regardless of age age,genders and economic class. Its an enormous reason I LOVE what I do. The fulfillment I feel as I am sharing this art gift and making people happy is profound. We are all human and on this journey together. I was recently given the opportunity to do henna for a lovely soul in the Florida Keys that is working through a Cancer diagnosis. I can only hope that the short time I had with her sharing my art made her feel special and happy:) I know its always a humbling experience for me, as we never know how long we have on this Earth.
