Today at Festival Park in Atlantic City, New Jersey at The Borgata Hotel and Casino, I face painted the performers of Mania, an electronic circus!! It was such a fun and exciting endeavor!! It has a Cirque Du Soleil type of style to it, one of my favorites!! The performers from Jewelz Entertainment were amazing to work with and very professional. I was happy to be on the scene with them creating face painting designs for their amazing show and performance! The Wilmington Flower Market this weekend was another smashing success!!! The weather was incredible and just perfect for face painting and henna body art. I was visited by local photographer Shannon Adelson, who said the following about my face painting art while capturing photographs of my work.
“Face painting is a party novelty you often find at carnivals and other outdoor festivals… However, to witness the level of artistry exhibited here was quite refreshing. I briefly discussed with Jen how she tries to match the color palette to each child’s clothing, and then modify the design to fit the demeanor of the kid in her chair. Amazingly consistent work, and all in such a short timeframe too. Face painting like this is definitely an art form, and it was amazing to watch how quickly such a transformation takes place. In less than five minutes this young girl had a makeup masterpiece adorning her skin. It’s no surprise why all the kids were lining up to be part of this experience!”

Last week took part in a very fun event in Atlantic City New Jersey airbrushing tattoos for a Verizon function. The festivities were a part of a competition taking place at Revel Hotel and Casino. This was an adult event with a rock and roll theme to it. The participants were in party mode and very excited for their airbrush tattoo experience. Airbrush tattoos are fun for partygoers of all ages. They are fun because they are temporary and can be removed with alcohol or baby oil or left to wear off naturally over a week to 10 day period.
