Body Painting at Fantasy Fest in Key West Florida with Artist Jennifer Montgomery
Jennifer Montgomery, a celebrated Key West (Florida)Artist . As seen on Duval street and Mallory Square Sunset Celebrations , is accepting body painting appointments for the upcoming Fantasy Fest in October 2015.
Fantasy Fest is an annual 10 day festival that takes place at the end of October in Key West, FL. During the Fest, body painting is a very popular theme, alongside beads, parties, and whole lots of fun.
Since body painting is very popular during the event, patrons are usually advised to book appointments in advance. This is to ensure that all willing customers get the proper amount of time and service needed to pull off a successful body paint image.
Body painting, just like tattoos (temporary or permanent) is a form of body expression. Where tattoos may last for years, body paint will usually stay on for a few hours. For the most part, body paint has been a preserve of festivals such as Fantasy Fest, and gives participants the chance to have their choice designs painted on them in colors they like. For you, the opportunity to be body painted by one of the best artists is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
For such events as the Fantasy Fest, Jennifer Montgomery uses a special kind of paint, that’s suitable for use on the face and body. Due to her experience in the field, you should rest assured that washing off the paint will be an easy task, and that you shouldn’t fear any allergic reactions. At any point before the appointment, you are welcome to ask questions and learn as much as you can about the whole process. Jennifer is more than willing to answer your queries and alleviate any concerns you have.
Apart from choosing body paint for festivals, you can have your body painted specifically for a photo shoot. The body paint adds a unique and artistic flair to the photographs, ensuring you get to see a side of yourself you wouldn’t have. With body paint, the photos stand out. Fashion shows are also a great place to showcase body paint, where the paint plays to the theme of the show. For models, this is a great way to stand out from the competition.
Many have had Jennifer body paint them, with the artistry and flair of the job overwhelming them. As The Little Rock Foundation says, “Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to paint faces at our holiday party … they turned out beautiful!” and Kim from PA, “thank you … for an outstanding job!”
Initially, Jennifer Montgomery started out as CrazyFaces Face Painting, dedicated to face painting gigs for birthday and theme parties in the Philadelphia area. As she grew her talents and creativity, so did her ability to take on much complex tasks. CrazyFaces has now grown to offer more than just face painting, and services now include airbrush tattoos, airbrush t-shirts, body paint, and henna application for any style party or event. More to that, Jennifer’s clientele has expanded to include those from the Philadelphia Tri-State area as well as Key West Florida and The Lower Keys.
Aside from business, Jennifer is an easy going, creative, and likes children. Her life revolves around creating art through paint, and she is happy she found her calling in life.
Should you wish to make an appointment during Fantasy Fest, make sure to include as much details as possible, mainly regarding the style, design, and color of the body paint you want. That way, Jennifer will be in a better position to capture your thoughts down to the last stroke.

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in a body paint demo video showcasing my body paint art and offer feedback on the process and my success in the field of face and body painting. It was an unusually chilly rainy August day- fortunately the body painting took place indoors. This was my first time painting model/actress Samantha Elmer. We had a great time chatting and creating art. As I normally do, I didnt start with a blueprint for my design. I chose a color scheme and just allowed my creativity to flow and work with colors and curves of the body. The entire body paint process took about 2 hours with some breaks in between. I paint best when not on a schedule, so this was a carefree, fun, creative body paint experience. As you can see, I also matched the body paint with a face paint design to complete the look. The video footage was shot by Alan Fenstermaker, and is currently being edited. I am especially grateful for the gift of face and body art in my life and the interest of both Alan and model Samantha for collaborating with me on this. The next big body paint event that I am looking forward to is Fantasy Fest in Key West, Florida. I truly love letting my creativity loose and body painting in Key West.

The very first night of face painting in Key West at Mallory Square was a beautiful and wonderful time. The setting couldn’t be any more beautiful, in my favorite place in all the land-Key West, FL basking in the delicious , blazing sun. Thanks to the families that came out for the celebration and had their faces painted, including a Key West High School graduate.

At first glance, she looks clothed! But, in fact, the model in the photograph is not wearing clothes- just body paint! The concept for the photoshoot was to body paint clothing to cause the viewer to do a “double take” and wonder is she wearing clothes or not! Painted on clothing is fun but tricky. The model should be suited well for the intended design or painted on clothing as there is full exposure with this sort of thing. The daisy duke jean shorts and halter top outfit we decided on for this shoot was perfect for our model. It was an ultra fun shoot in West Chester PA from start to finish with this body painting. I was pleased with the results and the look of the painted on clothes. I think the images by David James in West Chester PA were amazing as well as the work of model Michelle.

Today we did a superfun body paint collaboration in West Chester PA. The design idea was Daisy Duke so I body painted a fun halter top and jean shorts. It was my first time body painting jeans and I was super happy with the results. Painting on clothing is a challenge when trying to achieve a realistic effect- I am happy with the results , the model was a great canvas- so that was helpful. The whole photo shoot was fun, upbeat and full of energy and creativity. Thanks to David James Photography in West Chester PA and model Michelle for making this such a fun shoot:) For body painting in the Philadelphia Pa area and Key West, FL contact body painter Jennifer Montgomery 610.764.0853
Body painting is not just for parties and fun. Did you know that body painting is a great way to advertise? When a model is body painted containing a particular logo or message- it’s considered mobile advertising and that’s a great way to interact with customers, potential customers and spread the message about a brand, product, organizations, etc. Body painting is smart at trade shows, nightclub events, fairs, and festivals- all places that draw a crowd and an opportunity to create awareness of your message and attract attention.
Body painted models were mingling with the ladies in Wilmington, Delaware at the Lola’s Ladies Night Out event at the Chase Center. Philadelphia area body painter Jennifer Montgomery painted each male model with logos reflective of the event and its sponsors. One model was body painted with the Lola’s logo on his chest, the other model advertised the Smart Tarts Events logo. The feedback was tremendously positive as the painted models took a picture with each attendee on the red carpet upon arrival also while they mingled, chatted and danced with the ladies. Aside for the living art, there was shopping, drinks, food tastings and an overall good energy for the evening. It truly was a fun, and exciting event!

Some days its just fun to play with body paint and photography:) I collaborated with some creative artist friends for an impromptu body paint photo shoot in Philadelphia recently. We had lots of fun on a dreary, cold weekday morning in the studio in Philadelphia- body painting, talking, listening to music and taking pictures! Thanks to model Nideshia Singleton and Photographer Mike Pierce for the fun collaboration!
