2018 Wilmington Flower Market Face Painting and Henna
So its Wilmington Flower Markettime again!!! This week Thursday, Friday and Saturday May 10-12 at Rockford Park in Wilmington , DE. I’ll be painting faces and doing beautiful henna body art . Proceeds benefit children charities in Delaware. This is one of my favorite events!!I’m really hopeful that the weather cooperates this year and brings us sunshine!!!!!I’m looking forward to more art, glitter and happy faces!!!

The Wilmington Flower Market this weekend was another smashing success!!! The weather was incredible and just perfect for face painting and henna body art. I was visited by local photographer Shannon Adelson, who said the following about my face painting art while capturing photographs of my work.
“Face painting is a party novelty you often find at carnivals and other outdoor festivals… However, to witness the level of artistry exhibited here was quite refreshing. I briefly discussed with Jen how she tries to match the color palette to each child’s clothing, and then modify the design to fit the demeanor of the kid in her chair. Amazingly consistent work, and all in such a short timeframe too. Face painting like this is definitely an art form, and it was amazing to watch how quickly such a transformation takes place. In less than five minutes this young girl had a makeup masterpiece adorning her skin. It’s no surprise why all the kids were lining up to be part of this experience!”

The annual Wilmington Flower Market event is taking place this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Rockford Park in Wilmington from 10am-8pm each day. We had a very successful weekend at the Wilmington Flower Market offering face painting and airbrush tattoos to raise money for childrens charities in Delaware. We had a beautiful few days at Rockford Park with sunshine, warm temperatures and very little rain. Friday was the most busy day with the face painting line non-stop for 9 hrs and airbrush tattoos equally as popular. Because this is an annual event that CrazyyFaces Face Painting participates in- we saw many familiar faces that stop by for face painting or airbrush tattoos each year.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and showed support to help us contribute hundreds of dollars to children in Delaware. Thanks to the Flower Market committee for all your hard work and support as well! See you at Flower Market 2014:)

It was a gorgeous weekend at the Wilmington Flower Market. All 3 days were sunny and springlike, making it perfect for face painting 🙂 It was the 91st year for the Wilmington Flower Market. Of course there were lots of flowers,games,entertainment, and vendors selling beautiful items at Rockford Park.
We were fortunate that the weather cooperated and we experienced just a passing shower on Saturday evening, nothing significant. Thanks to everyone who waited in line to have face painting, I appreciate it!
