Last night I took part in a face painting jam at the SoHa Art building in southern New Jersey with the South Jersey Face Painting Guild. We had the fortunate opportunity of a visit by Heather Green from Silly Farm supplies in Hollywood Florida. Heather was generous enough to share are sunny personality and share some face painting tips and business advice . We were also lucky to have the opportunity to but face painting and body painting supplies during our jam! I was glad to purchase some new cosmetic glitter , paint brushes , make-up and sponges to add to my already extensive professional kit of face painting supplies! A fun time was had by all sharing art, face painting , learning and making new face and body art friends ! I’m grateful for the opportunity that was offered to is by Heather Green , Silly Farm and the South Jersey Face Paint Guild.

The weekend was filled with family fun at The Springfield Ice Skating Rink in Springfield PA Delaware County. There was FREE face painting during the public sessions all weekend. All of the kids had lots of fun and chose all types of different face paint designs from tigers, superheroes, butterflies and abstract eye designs. Sugar Skull Face Painting Philadelphia Photo Shoot

Pink and Gold Sugar Skull Face Painting Philadelphia

I took part in a photo shoot in Philadelphia PA yesterday in the Chinatown section of the city. We started out at Kevin Loreux’s Studio where I painted 4 models for the shoot. Two of the designs were face painted sugar skull designs. The image shown above is the pink and gold sugar skull design. I used Mehron professional make-up products to airbrush the base and also paint with a brush. I particularly like the metallic gold powder I used mixed with liquid to achieve a a fresh, sleek gold color in the design. I embellished the face painting with jewels, liquid bling and of course glitter. The models looked like pixie dolls and caught much attention on location around the city of Philadelphia!
