Pink and Gold Sugar Skull Face Painting Philadelphia
I took part in a photo shoot in Philadelphia PA yesterday in the Chinatown section of the city. We started out at Kevin Loreux’s Studio where I painted 4 models for the shoot. Two of the designs were face painted sugar skull designs. The image shown above is the pink and gold sugar skull design. I used Mehron professional make-up products to airbrush the base and also paint with a brush. I particularly like the metallic gold powder I used mixed with liquid to achieve a a fresh, sleek gold color in the design. I embellished the face painting with jewels, liquid bling and of course glitter. The models looked like pixie dolls and caught much attention on location around the city of Philadelphia!

Halloween is my favorite time of year 🙂 I face painted myself as a sugar skull design for Halloween this year. I used an airbrush for the base on my face,arms and collarbone area. I followed up with a fine brush for line work and then embellished with rhinestones. It was fun to paint myself for a change and enjoy being dressed up for Halloween!
