I had the honor of providing henna services for a bride and her family in Philadelphia PA yesterday:) It was a beautiful , festive experience to be the henna artist for the upcoming Philadelphia PA bridal event. I spent about 4 hours with the family applying henna to the Indian family with designs of all sorts. Of course, the bride received the most intricate and extensive henna work on her hands and feet. After the henna was applied the ladies applied lemon juice to wet the henna again to allow the henna to create darker stains as it was setting on the skin. Last week I collaborated with colleague Aaron D. Stallworth for a Belly Paint Photo Shoot at Studio 5 South in Philadelphia PA. The expectant mommy is due in just a few weeks and she requested flowers that resemeble daffodils to be painted on her baby belly. Daffodil is the flower of the month for March. I used Mehron gold as a background and painted each daffodil a different bright color. The painting took about 1 hour to complete. I just love the look on the new mothers face when she looks at her newly decorated baby bump in the mirror, pure delight!! I finally have some pics of the splatter paint effect I worked on a few months ago. I did this on t-shirts and a hat! The splatter paint effect seems to be in style these days, I remember it from the 80’s! Anyway, its colorful,fun, and funky 🙂

I can splatter paint on anything, really. Clothing,walls, curtains, fabric furniture, wherever your looking to have a vibrant,free, artistic energy 🙂 The technique is fun and very liberating.

Eddystone Borough (Ridley Township) will be celebrating the Memorial Day holiday on Sunday May 24th at the Lighthouse. I wil be face painting from 1pm until 3pm for all the children. Come join the fun in Eddystone on Sunday! Also, take a peek inside the gym at the mural I airbrushed 🙂
