Yesterday I had the lovely opportunity to work with an expecting client for a pre-natal belly paint session in Delaware. We worked with a Fall/Winter Baby theme as this 2nd time mommy to be gave birth to her first born in the Fall and her baby girl is due in the Winter. We decided that fall leaves and snowflakes should be included into the belly paint design.After an hour long session, the final product was a scene on one side with a tree and colorful fall leaves opposite a snowflake scene each sparkling and shimmering with glitter. The results were appreciated by mom and baby girl as she was moving around during the belly paint session:)

Heres a shot from a recent pregnant belly painting session in Delaware County PA! It was a fun last minute belly paint booking that worked out just beautifully. The colors were kept fun and bright for the design which was appropriate considering baby girl is due in August! After the painting was complete- new Mommy to be primped her hair and wore a special outfit to a photo shoot to have colorful photo memories of her pregnancy and her belly paint!

Last week I collaborated with colleague Aaron D. Stallworth for a Belly Paint Photo Shoot at Studio 5 South in Philadelphia PA. The expectant mommy is due in just a few weeks and she requested flowers that resemeble daffodils to be painted on her baby belly. Daffodil is the flower of the month for March. I used Mehron gold as a background and painted each daffodil a different bright color. The painting took about 1 hour to complete. I just love the look on the new mothers face when she looks at her newly decorated baby bump in the mirror, pure delight!! Yesterday I had the opportunity to belly paint a lady bug and flower garden on model Leah.After the belly paint was complete, a photo shoot was next to capture the images. I had a wonderful time chatting while painting with Leah at Dougherty Photo Designs. Heather the photographer was very kind and friendly .The studio was warm,clean and cozy, perfect for a belly paint session. I look forward to seeing the final images.

Belly Painting- Body Painting for Photo Shoots

One of my most recent paintings, on a pregnant belly, so beautiful. Ironically the due date would make the baby a Pisces, Pisces the Fish 🙂

Belly Painting is a beautiful and creative way to celebrate pregnancy. Designs can be custom created to match room themes, favorite colors, include names and dates etc. Afterwards a photoshoot is a great way to capture the special moment. Belly Painting is also great for Baby Showers, or offer it as a special gift for mother to be 🙂
