Today we did a superfun body paint collaboration in West Chester PA. The design idea was Daisy Duke so I body painted a fun halter top and jean shorts. It was my first time body painting jeans and I was super happy with the results. Painting on clothing is a challenge when trying to achieve a realistic effect- I am happy with the results , the model was a great canvas- so that was helpful. The whole photo shoot was fun, upbeat and full of energy and creativity. The luck of the Irish was in the air in Springfield PA over the weekend! St. Patricks Day face painting designs were a hot pick by the kids having their face painted! Body painting is not just for parties and fun. Did you know that body painting is a great way to advertise? When a model is body painted containing a particular logo or message- it’s considered mobile advertising and that’s a great way to interact with customers, potential customers and spread the message about a brand,product, organizations, etc. Body painting is smart at trade shows, nightclub events, fairs, and festivals- all places that draw a crowd and an opportunity to create awareness of your message and attract attention.

Body painted models were mingling with the ladies in Wilmington, Delaware at the Lola’s Ladies Night Out event at the Chase Center. Philadelphia area body painter Jennifer Montgomery painted each male model with logos reflective of the event and its sponsors. One model was body painted with the Lola’s logo on his chest, the other model advertised the Smart Tarts Events logo. The feedback was tremendously positive as the painted models took a picture with each attendee on the red carpet upon arrival also while they mingled, chatted and danced with the ladies. Aside for the living art, there was shopping, drinks, food tastings and an overall good energy for the evening. It truly was a fun, and exciting event!

Most people would’nt think of mid January as a popular time for body paint work. However, yesterday, MLK day was an exception. I was contacted to body paint two very enthusiastic, sweet girls in New Jersey as part of a monthly goal challenge. One of the girls sets monthly goals to reach, each year with a different theme. Last year were fitness and sports related goals, this year a bit more unconventional. She invited her trusted friends to assist with goal ideas- the goal for January ended up being body painting!
It was a very fun, laid back body paint session in Mays Landing New Jersey. We chatted and laughed as I painted each girl, both of whom just loved the colors and design painted on their bodies and faces. I used colors and patterns to flatter and reflect each personality and skin tone. I even included YOLO on the back of one of the designs. For those who are unaware, YOLO stands for You Only Live Once- which I wholeheartedly agree with- why not?

We had great fun over the weekend with airbrush tattoos at a a 1st birthday party in Mullica Hill New Jersey. All of the kids ranging from elementary school to high school ages participated with multiple tattoos on their skin. The boys liked them so much that they were going shirtless to get tattoos on their backs and belly!The popular pick for the party was the Philadelphia Phillies Airbrush tattoo design. What a fun party and I am always glad to see the kids have a great time:)

It was a very active weekend for Holiday and Christmas Parties in the Philadelphia and Delaware County PA area. We took part in a kids Christmas party event in Philadelphia at the Sheraton in Society Hill. Almost all of the kids took part in the face painting in which Christmas face paint designs were offered to add to the holiday cheer. Obviously face painting is a fun activity to offer for holiday parties of all kinds:)
Besides face painting at Christmas parties, we also had birthday parties to face paint at, airbrush tattoos for Lunch with Santa in Springfield PA and Airbrush T-shirts in Phoenixville PA. We were just as busy as Santa’s elves this weekend- and for that I am grateful!
