Jungle in July was the theme of a fashion show I did body painting for this weekend in Quakertown PA at the Proper Brewing Co. I was backstage at the show to complete the look of the swimsuit ensembles by enhancing them with body paint designs which matched the colors and patterns of the tops each model was wearing. The fun part was chatting with each model as I painted them and learning a bit about each girl. I really love that part of my job, talking and learning about a person. We all have a story ….. I am grateful that I can share my art and meet new awesome people and spread smiles:) On another note, FANTASY FEST in KEY WEST…. Im not a big fan of “reality TV” or any TV for that matter, BUT it sure was nice to have been sought out and considered a good candidate for the show. SKIN WARS is hosted by Rebecca Romijn in 8 hour long episodes featuring the best body painters in the country engaging in a series of competitions to win cash and prizes and career boosting opportunities. Yeah…. its cold out! We heated things up with body painting in Philadelphia at Red Cedar Studio with Gregory Maxx Photography, a hot model and a Harley Davidson. The shoot took place as a gift for someone special for Valentines Day. The body paint was an Eagles jersey on the model as she used the Harley Davidson as her prop. We all had a fabulous time with paint, music and pictures. The pics above are some snapshots from the studio. Above is my most recent body painting done in Philadelphia along with Gregory Maxx Photography. The beautiful model LaToya wore the body painted roses very beautifully as if she were fully dressed. We had a late start on this body paint photo shoot in Philadelphia . However , all of use were excited to see the body painting through to completion. Greg Maxx captured some really amazing shots . We used fun props to create some really sexy and tasteful images. I look forward to posting the final professional images in the upcoming weeks. Pre-Natal Belly Painting Delaware

Yesterday I had the lovely opportunity to work with an expecting client for a pre-natal belly paint session in Delaware. We worked with a Fall/Winter Baby theme as this 2nd time mommy to be gave birth to her first born in the Fall and her baby girl is due in the Winter. We decided that fall leaves and snowflakes should be included into the belly paint design.After an hour long session, the final product was a scene on one side with a tree and colorful fall leaves opposite a snowflake scene each sparkling and shimmering with glitter. The results were appreciated by mom and baby girl as she was moving around during the belly paint session:)

Theres no doubt that Philadelphia based body painter Jennifer Montgomery is passionate about face and body art. She has been in business for a decade providing face painting, body painting , henna and airbrush body art in the Philadelphia area and most recently Key West, Florida. During a recent video shoot she demonstrated her body painting art on model Samantha Elmer . The entire body painting process was captured from start to finish by videographer Alan Fenstermaker of Fenstermaker Films. After the body paint was completed, Jennifer was interviewed and described how she comes up designs,inspiration for her body paint designs, previous and upcoming events including Cigarfest, Fantasy Fest and The Kennett Square Mushroom Festival. She also spoke enthusiastically about her love for Key West, Florida and her participation in the upcoming Fantasy Fest in Key West.

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in a body paint demo video showcasing my body paint art and offer feedback on the process and my success in the field of face and body painting. It was an unusually chilly rainy August day- fortunately the body painting took place indoors. This was my first time painting model/actress Samantha Elmer. We had a great time chatting and creating art. As I normally do, I didnt start with a blueprint for my design. I chose a color scheme and just allowed my creativity to flow and work with colors and curves of the body. The entire body paint process took about 2 hours with some breaks in between. I paint best when not on a schedule, so this was a carefree, fun, creative body paint experience. As you can see, I also matched the body paint with a face paint design to complete the look. The video footage was shot by Alan Fenstermaker, and is currently being edited. I am especially grateful for the gift of face and body art in my life and the interest of both Alan and model Samantha for collaborating with me on this. The next big body paint event that I am looking forward to is Fantasy Fest in Key West, Florida. I truly love letting my creativity loose and body painting in Key West.
