Last week I collaborated with colleague Aaron D. Stallworth for a Belly Paint Photo Shoot at Studio 5 South in Philadelphia PA. The expectant mommy is due in just a few weeks and she requested flowers that resemeble daffodils to be painted on her baby belly. Daffodil is the flower of the month for March. I used Mehron gold as a background and painted each daffodil a different bright color. The painting took about 1 hour to complete. I just love the look on the new mothers face when she looks at her newly decorated baby bump in the mirror, pure delight!! Silver Body Paint New Jersey Photo Shoot

Today I body painted for a photo shoot in New Jersey. I painted the model completely silver, head to toe including her hair. The results look to me like chrome, i just love it. This was my first full body metallic body paint, I was concerned about the appearance of brush strokes considering I applied the make-up with a large body brush as opposed to using airbrush. As you can see, no brush strokes:) It looks smooth and clean like a freshly polished chrome surface.

Everyone involved in the shoot was great. We shot at Empty Bucket Studios in Lambertville,NJ. Stay tuned for more images and a behind the scenes video!

Halloween is almost here! Last week I face painted for a Halloween Party in Washington Township New Jersey, and I painted lots of fun eye designs for the adults to complement costumes 🙂

Yesterday I body painted for a photo shoot in Philadelphia at Kats Eye Studio. The theme was light fetish, so spider webs,cat eyes,and vampires were design options. I painted Ry-Ry with spider webs. Because I love sparkle and all things glam, I added some rhinestone and of course glitter 🙂

Me and my body painted ladies from the Philadelphia RAW that my body paint was showcased! It was an exhilerating evening! I had so much fun painting each model and I just love the head pieces! Stars and Swirls Body Painting

The second of 2 body paintings I did recently was a stars and swirls airbrush body paint design. Again, I was happy with the outcome. A less involved design but still beautiful. Sparkles and rhinestones were added to give some extra pizazz !

One of my most recent paintings, on a pregnant belly, so beautiful. Ironically the due date would make the baby a Pisces, Pisces the Fish 🙂

Belly Painting is a beautiful and creative way to celebrate pregnancy. Designs can be custom created to match room themes, favorite colors, include names and dates etc. Afterwards a photoshoot is a great way to capture the special moment. Belly Painting is also great for Baby Showers, or offer it as a special gift for mother to be 🙂
