Yesterday I participated in the Fairhill Square Farmers Market in Philadelphia PA in collaboration with The Women’s Community Revitalization Project. The Farmers Market began last year to bring fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs to the city. The Farmers Market take place every Tuesday through the month of October from 1pm-5pm at Fairhill Square Park in Philadelphia located at 4th and Lehigh.
There are different activities offered each for the members of the community to participate in. Yesterday, Face Painting was offered as a free activity for the children. There was also a free Zumba class for everyone to enjoy as well.
The face painting was a success with kids and adults coming by throughout the day and spreading the words to others to come and have their faces painted as well! The next face painting activity will take place on the last Tuesday in August. In the meantime, visit the Fairhill Square Farmers Market in Philadelphia PA and support the community as well locally grown , fresh, chemical free , healthy foods.

We had a very successful weekend at the Wilmington Flower Market offering face painting and airbrush tattoos to raise money for childrens charities in Delaware. We had a beautiful few days at Rockford Park with sunshine, warm temperatures and very little rain. Friday was the most busy day with the face painting line non-stop for 9 hrs and airbrush tattoos equally as popular. Because this is an annual event that CrazyyFaces Face Painting participates in- we saw many familiar faces that stop by for face painting or airbrush tattoos each year.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and showed support to help us contribute hundreds of dollars to children in Delaware. Thanks to the Flower Market committee for all your hard work and support as well! See you at Flower Market 2014:)

The weekend was filled with family fun at The Springfield Ice Skating Rink in Springfield PA Delaware County. There was FREE face painting during the public sessions all weekend. All of the kids had lots of fun and chose all types of different face paint designs from tigers, superheroes, butterflies and abstract eye designs. The ice rink was bustling with color and painted faces. The FREE face painting event will take place again in March! Stay tunes for updates.
