The Wilmington Flower Market this weekend was another smashing success!!! The weather was incredible and just perfect for face painting and henna body art. I was visited by local photographer Shannon Adelson, who said the following about my face painting art while capturing photographs of my work.
“Face painting is a party novelty you often find at carnivals and other outdoor festivals… However, to witness the level of artistry exhibited here was quite refreshing. I briefly discussed with Jen how she tries to match the color palette to each child’s clothing, and then modify the design to fit the demeanor of the kid in her chair. Amazingly consistent work, and all in such a short timeframe too. Face painting like this is definitely an art form, and it was amazing to watch how quickly such a transformation takes place. In less than five minutes this young girl had a makeup masterpiece adorning her skin. It’s no surprise why all the kids were lining up to be part of this experience!”

The basement was transformed to resemble all things Star Wars. The boys chose charachters within the theme as well as some other scary, ghoulish face painting designs. Who’s ready for Spring? I know we’ve all had enough snow and cold weather. We bid farewell to February with face painting this weekend all over the Philadelphia Tri-State area! We started with face painting at a school in Philadelphia on Friday for a Birthday Party. The rest of the weekend put us in New Jersey with face painting and balloons for a Dunkin Donuts Grand Opening in Vineland New Jersey , a Birthday Party in Philadelphia and Face Painting in Malvern PA for a Mardi Gras Party. Last night I was blessed with the opportunity to face paint at Chick-fil-A in Wilmington Delaware at the Concord Mall location. It was a fun activity for the kids and teens to participate in and pick various styles of face painting to decorate their face and eat chicken. This was the first of a monthly run at Chick- fil-A at the Concord Mall. I will be returning again on the 1st Tuesday in November with FREE face painting in Wilmngton Delaware.
