Yesterday I did a Henna Body Art design of a family tree on a client in Philadelphia PA. The design was intended as a trial to decide if an actual permanent ink tattoo would be a good fit in the area requested . The henna design was a tree with the names of the clients two children included within. It took about 40 minutes to complete the artwork and started on the upper thigh area and extended up to side abdomen to just above the rib area. I was very pleased with the outcome of the henna design as was the client. I was very honored and excited to have been invited to body paint and participate in an event for the Wilmington Art Loop on Tuesday evening. The event took place in Wilmington DE at Theatre N to anounce the launching of the Art Loops new improved website. I did a small amount of body painting on Ashley, my very lovely, friendly model. It was nice to chat with guests as the painting was taking place and Ashley was being decorated with roses and vibrant colors.It was a great event with talented artists, great food and wonderful people. The Art Loop takes place on the first Friday of each month as various businesses in Wilmington showcase local artists that share their art with those who come out to experience the event.

Airbrush shirts are a popular activity/ giveaway item for Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs in the Philadelphia PA area. Most recently I airbrushed t-shirts for a Bat Mitzvah at The Merion Tribute House in Bala Cynwyd PA. The kids and adults were interested in the shirts. The fun begins by selecting a design, then choosing colors and text that will be created to appear on the shirt. Saturday was a full day of art, starting with a scheduled belly paint in New Jersey. The design idea was Jungle Baby to match the theme of the baby shower. I came up with a colorful design that was fun and childlike. I was happy with the outcome, as was the mother to be and her darling little girl that was fascinated by the paint on mom’s belly!

With the Christmas holiday just 1 week away,surely its been a popular time for face painting at holiday parties for kids in the Philadelphia area. Last week was a very nice party for the kids at Rock School West in West Chester PA! The girls enjoyed face painting and other fun to celebrate the season and their hard work on their dance production -The Nutcracker. The weekend brought fun in Philadelphia at The Society Hill Sheraton for a kids Christmas party with face painting, a visit from Santa, ice cream sundae’s and presents for every child!
Today we will see Santa once again in West Grove PA for an annual community holiday party! Happy holidays 🙂

The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Eve hosted the biggest party in Philly sponsored by LineRocket . I body painted 4 models as part of the event to advertise LineRocket which allows club goers the opportunity to buy tickets in advance and skip the line to preier clubs all over the United States. The girls were painted silver, red and black which are the LineRocket colors. Each model was painted basically the same with slight design and color variation on each painted body. The message “LineRocket” was the focal point of each body painting.

Because children are reported missing or abducted every year, the FBI recommends parents be prepared to provide law officers with vital information about your child.
The National Child Identification Program provides kits to include inkless fingerprints of your child, cards for detailing a child’s physical description, including a body map pointing out scars, birthmarks and other identifying features, a place to keep a current photo and an easy-to-use swab to take and store a small DNA sample.
The kits, light refreshments and door prizes are featured.
