So I had a lovely henna client today getting henna to cover a scar on her hand before a trip to Liberia! What a sweet woman and wonderful experience . It was so nice to connect with her over henna. We talked about art, families and work. Her husband was equally as nice and a creative as well. THAT is why I love what I do, the connecting part. Henna for Cancer and Chemotherapy Patients in Philadelphia and Key West

Here’s what i’m hoping to manifest this December 2016 in the Philadelphia area! Also in January 2017 …I’m looking for some help friends … I’d like to volunteer my time and my henna art to ladies going through cancer treatment/chemotherapy . My hope is to do henna crowns as a pick me up during the holiday season . I did this in Key West for a very special woman that hadn’t taken her hat off since her treatments but felt comfy enough with me to do so…. It was an amazing experience for both of us … So much so that a friend of hers saw me doing henna at an event a week later in Key West and stopped to tell me how her friend was so happy 🙂 So anyone with contact people or resources I can reach out to would be appreciated. It was an exciting time during Bike Week in Daytona Beach FL body painting and doing henna tattoos at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona this year! I was so excited and grateful for the opportunity and experience. The weather was wonderful 8 out of the 10 days, lucky me to be body painting and doing henna in sunny Florida ! I had a fabulous time creating art and hanging out with the folks at Harley Davidson and Full Throttle Magazine. There were motorcycles galore, music, enthusiastic people, fun, body paint and henna too!

Last night was a fun , henna body art filled evening at Lola’s Ladies Night Out in Wilmington Delaware at the Crowne Plaza on Naamans Rd. I was at the event offering free henna designs to the first 10 registered guests- which the lucky ladies that took advantage of the offer , very much enjoyed. Most women opted for small, dainty designs on the arm or hand. There were a few larger designs on the hand, ankle and a dreamcatcher henna design on a lower back region of the body. Henna is fun as I can get very creative with it and create unique tattoo designs custom fit for each recipient. I was glad to take part in the this event, put henna on people, and answer questions and spread the word about my art.

Yesterday I did a Henna Body Art design of a family tree on a client in Philadelphia PA. The design was intended as a trial to decide if an actual permanent ink tattoo would be a good fit in the area requested . The henna design was a tree with the names of the clients two children included within. It took about 40 minutes to complete the artwork and started on the upper thigh area and extended up to side abdomen to just above the rib area. I was very pleased with the outcome of the henna design as was the client. As part of Center City Districts 20th anniversary celebration throughout the summer, I will be participating in the Wednesday happy hour event by offering Henna Body Art.

Last week a bachelorette party was held to celebrate an upcoming marriage. The bride requested Henna as part of the party entertainment. The bride received the most elaborate henna/mehndi on both band extending up each arm. The rest of the bachelorette partygoers recieved more simple henna designs on their hands. I left the party with a a room filled with beautiful henna body art. Best of luck to the newlyweds!
