Me and my body painted ladies from the Philadelphia RAW that my body paint was showcased! It was an exhilerating evening! I had so much fun painting each model and I just love the head pieces! I made each head piece by hand with feathers and jewels, soooo fun! Thanks again to everyone involved at RAW Philadelphia, it was an honor to have my body paint art showcased!

CandyLand Body Paint
Candy Land was the theme of yesterdays photo shoot in Philadelphia PA. I used fun colors and glitters to create the latest body painting. It was an exciting day at Katseye Studio. There were several delicious ,fun looking sets- all reflecting the candy land theme:)

Yesterday was a photo shoot with a body painted Philles jersey on the model to cheer on the Philadelphia Philies. Body painted clothing was a fun concept to try and even better that the Phillies won last night.

Heres a photo from a photo shoot in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia PA this week of a cat design I body painted. This was a really fun shoot. I used vibrant colors and the model, Ni, really took on the persona of a cat during the shoot. Another big shout out to Aaron Stallworth- always a pleasure to work with and lots of fun 🙂

Its been a wild month, especially with the crazy weather. I’ve managed to paint on canvas and bodies, shovel my way out of the snow to Jamaica and have some fun, now its back to business. Here are some recent photos of paintings I’ve done in Philly and a little bit in Jamaica.
One of my most recent paintings, on a pregnant belly, so beautiful. Ironically the due date would make the baby a Pisces, Pisces the Fish 🙂
Belly Painting is a beautiful and creative way to celebrate pregnancy. Designs can be custom created to match room themes, favorite colors, include names and dates etc. Afterwards a photoshoot is a great way to capture the special moment. Belly Painting is also great for Baby Showers, or offer it as a special gift for mother to be 🙂

In issue 10 of Illusion Magazine, 2 photo’s of my work were published in the gallery pages of that publication. I had no idea until I was flipping through the magazine- needless to say I was extrememly excited when I saw my work. I almost couldnt breathe.
I am very pleased with how things have evolved for me over the years. I feel extremely blessed to do work that makes me feel happy .When I started business as CrazyFaces Face Painting in 2003, I was taking a big chance. I wanted my independence and freedom. I had been independant contracting for a face painting company and was not happy. I decided to listen to myself and do what was best for ME. In doing so, I was faced with a lawsuit based on false allegations that I had to defend. My belief is the person making the allegations was trying to make an example out of me. I did what I had to do and after 2 years of legal proceedings, it was dropped. Bottom line, I wasnt doing anything wrong and I told the truth. Over the years I have remained true to myself and stayed focused on what makes me feel happy. I only take jobs that I am truly interested in. If something will not prove to be a positive experience in the end, I decline. I will not resort to lowdown schemes or tactics to get more business. The work I do is not a means to an end. I am grateful for each experience and the opportunity to participate in fun events. Each year, I learn more about life and myself. I am grateful for the successes and failures along the way. I am hopeful for a very positive and successful 2010.
