I will be instructing a Henna body art workshop on Friday May 13 from 6-9pm at the Phoenixville Art Center in Phoenixville PA. You will learn the history of Henna as well as techique,henna recipes and patterns in this class. To sign up please go to the art center website

Saturday was a sun shiny spring day and perfect weather for a company picnic. The event I was face painting at in Chester County PA had lots of fun activities for the family of employees at the picnic. There was face painting,moon bouncing,great music, green screen photos, cotton candy and many other amuements for everyone to enjoy. Belly Paint Ladybugs and Flower Garden
Yesterday I had the opportunity to belly paint a lady bug and flower garden on model Leah.After the belly paint was complete, a photo shoot was next to capture the images. I had a wonderful time chatting while painting with Leah at Dougherty Photo Designs. Heather the photographer was very kind and friendly .The studio was warm,clean and cozy, perfect for a belly paint session. I look forward to seeing the final images.

Sunday was the 1st annual For Petes Sake Walk at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. For Petes Sake is a Cancer Respite Foundation. The mission of this organization is to give young adult cancer patients and their families an opportunity to reconnect, renew and relax in the midst of a cancer crisis.
It was nice day for families and friend to come out and walk for a great cause. I was there face painting the Phillies P on the faces of walkers of all ages. There was lots of food,fun,prizes and an appearance by the Phillie Phanatic.

Face Painting Ambler PA Wissahickon Middle School Career Day
Yesterday I participated in Career Day at Wisshickon Middle School. I spoke about face painting and body art as a career. Although I am not used to getting up so early on a weekday to prepare for an event, I was glad to participate. The students were very interested in learning about all different aspects of art as a career. At the end of each presentation, I asked for volunteers to be face painted. I think the hands on demo was the crowd favorite. I had kids that stayed after dismissal to come back and get face painting, very impressive! Face Painting at a Fundraiser Cherry Hill New Jersey
Saturday CrazyFaces Face Painting participated in a fundraiser at Baker Lanes in Cherry Hill New Jersey in support of the Little Rock Foundation for a fundraiser. It was a beautiful day to be out and about. There was bowling, food, prizes,face painting,airbrush tattoos and balloon art by John Cassidy (awesome). The kids in attendance had a blast and so did many adults including me π The Little Rock Foundation supports the blind and visually impaired in New Jersey and is a wonderful organization with the most fantastic people. I have been working with TLRF since CrazyFaces Face Painting began, I am so grateful for each opportunity through TLRF and the many wonderful people I have encountered along the way π
