Face Painting at Ridley Creek State Park for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Event

Sunday was the 2nd annual Power Home Remodeling 5k to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The event took place in Delaware County PA at Ridley Creek State Park. Just like the 2011 event, there were lots of great activities for the family including face painting, moon bounce, soccer clinic from The Philadelphia Union, music by WMGK and complimentary snacks and drinks. The morning started off nice and dry, but the rain did eventually move in. Although it became slightly soggy,the crowd still enjoyed a great day and stayed to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Face Painting Media PA Alex's Lemonade Stand Rose Tree Park Delaware County PA

It was a soggy start to a 5k to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Sunday in Media PA at the Rose Tree Park. But the crowd was full of spirit. Many people came out bright and early for a great cause and enjoyed the sounds of local radio station, complimentary food and drink, face painting, moon bouncing and plenty of other games for the kids while Mom or Dad participated in the 5k run. Power Home Remodeling organized the event to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Thanks to everyone who had their face painted ! I even saw a little girl later that same day at a local store with her face painting still on 🙂
