The weather was incredible and just perfect for face painting and henna body art. I was visited by local photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shannonadelson.com\">Shannon Adelson<\/a>,  who said the following about my face painting art while capturing photographs of my work.<br \/>\n&#8220;Face painting is a party novelty you often find at carnivals and other outdoor festivals&#8230; However, to witness the level of artistry exhibited here was quite refreshing. I briefly discussed with Jen how she tries to match the color palette to each child&#8217;s clothing, and then modify the design to fit the demeanor of the kid in her chair. Amazingly consistent work, and all in such a short timeframe too. Face painting like this is definitely an art form, and it was amazing to watch how quickly such a transformation takes place. In less than five minutes this young girl had a makeup masterpiece adorning her skin.
