\nLast week I was honored to participate in a Blessingway ceremony to celebrate the upcoming birth of a new baby boy into a clients family. The gathering included friends, family and loved ones joined in love to share stories, time, food blessings and henna for the new mom to be. I began by doing a pre-natal henna design on expecting moms belly. She chose a tree with roots including the phases of the moon. It turned out lovely. In addition, each guest selected a henna design for the hand or body to enjoy. The ceremony was a delightful display of female energy and support in anticipation of new life. I was honored to share my henna body art with these amazing women in the Philadelphia PA area.
