Jungle in July was the theme of a fashion show I did body painting for this weekend in Quakertown PA at the Proper Brewing Co. I was backstage at the show to complete the look of the swimsuit ensembles by enhancing them with body paint designs which matched the colors and patterns of the tops each model was wearing. The fun part was chatting with each model as I painted them and learning a bit about each girl. I really love that part of my job, talking and learning about a person. We all have a story ….. I am grateful that I can share my art and meet new awesome people and spread smiles:) On another note, FANTASY FEST in KEY WEST…. It was an exciting time during Bike Week in Daytona Beach FL body painting and doing henna tattoos at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona this year! I was so excited and grateful for the opportunity and experience. The weather was wonderful 8 out of the 10 days, lucky me to be body painting and doing henna in sunny Florida ! I had a fabulous time creating art and hanging out with the folks at Harley Davidson and Full Throttle Magazine. There were motorcycles galore, music, enthusiastic people, fun, body paint and henna too!

I was sooooo excited when I received a personal invitation to apply for SKIN WARS Season 2 this past week!! Im not a big fan of “reality TV” or any TV for that matter, BUT it sure was nice to have been sought out and considered a good candidate for the show. SKIN WARS is hosted by Rebecca Romijn in 8 hour long episodes featuring the best body painters in the country engaging in a series of competitions to win cash and prizes and career boosting opportunities. In the news: The city of Key West is looking to redfine nudity laws for Fantasy Fest. Fantasy Fest is a 10 day long festival taking place in the island of Key West which body painting is primary focus. Fantasy Fest attendee’s get wild and crazy with costumes, body paint and sometimes nudity. The city would like to redfine the laws in an effort to keep Fantasy Fest creative and fun. Key West Fantasy Fest 2013 Body Paint Highlights

Body Painting Key West Fantasy Fest by Body Painter Jennifer Montgomery Key West and Philadelphia PA

Fantasy Fest 2013 was another body painting success! As one of my favorite events of the year, I cannot begin to explain the excitement I feel about body painting in Key West during Fantasy Fest. I appreciate the opportunity to travel to my favorite place in all the land AND do what I love to do amongst like minded, fun, beautiful people.

The theme this year was Superhero�s, Villains, and Beyond. I painted several Wonder Woman,SuperGirl and Poison Ivy designs on women. Superman and Thor were favorites amongst the men. Not everyone stayed in sync with the theme. Some other designs that I body painted were a beautiful breast cancer pink ribbon on a lovely, joyful and delightful breast cancer survivor, corset tops, sports team jerseys, a dragon and Indian feathers just to highlight a few. I am grateful to have worked with and painted wonderful people . Its as much fun for me as it is for those being body painted in Key West for Fantasy Fest!!
